Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts athlete fighting for in the UFC at the flyweight division, is currently an Kyrgyzstani. She is the younger sister of the former UFC Flyweight champ and the fellow UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started out with her debut as an Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. She returned with a win against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa Haddaoui by an unanimous decision. She then beat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in a unanimous decision. In 2018, she left the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her superior striking abilities during the clinch final round with knees placed on her body. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC during the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi by split decision, after winning her debut fight. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The bout earned Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski, and beat Ariane. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
