Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts athlete fighting for in the UFC at the flyweight division, is currently an Kyrgyzstani. She is the younger sister of the former UFC Flyweight champ and the fellow UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started out with her debut as an Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after taking home bronze and silver medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, as well as a Gold medal in 2011 as well as the 2015 IFMA amateur Muay thai world champion. Antonia has started her professional journey in 2003, won in 2012 and the 2016 World Lion Fight Lightweight Champion. In 2016, the WMC World Championships were also held in 2016, and she took home the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thai World Champion. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was a an unanimous vote. Antonina shevchenko won her first professional MMA fight in 2002, against Anara bayanova at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won 3-0 following in the second round TKO. The next two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She returned with a win against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa Haddaoui by an unanimous decision. She then beat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in a unanimous decision. In 2018, she left the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her superior striking abilities during the clinch final round with knees placed on her body. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC during the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi by split decision, after winning her debut fight. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The bout earned Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski, and beat Ariane. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
